Replacement dwelling

The proposal is for a replacement dwelling creating a modern and spacious family home where the existing single storey property no longer fits the needs of the client.

The design looks to utilise the existing footprint whilst creating a contemporary dwelling utilising high quality natural materials.

Nestled within a former gravel quarry, now transformed into a lush wild landscape, the design reflects the surrounding environment through its choice of natural materials. Despite facing challenges such as preserving privacy whilst creating an open plan layout for the family, the design solution was arrived at through a thoughtful and client-centered approach.

The result is a family home that seamlessly blends modernity with the natural surroundings and provides the ideal space for family life.
