Remodel of Grade II listed dwelling, Leeds

A carefully crafted design proposal is proposed for the extension and remodel of an existing Grade II listed house. The proposal looks to maximize the potential of the site while preserving the heritage asset.

The proposed rear extension is designed with modest proportions reflecting those of the existing house, inhabiting the same floor area as the existing raised terrace. As a result, the increase in visible built volume on the site is minimal. The extension seamlessly integrates with the formal landscaped gardens, complementing the existing house and preserving its historic identity and prominence within the plot.
