Planning was granted for a new contemporary dwelling on the edge of a small village in North Yorkshire.

The site formed part of a large side garden to an existing detached dwelling and sits within extensive grounds with views over the surrounding countryside.

The design and layout were developed closely with the client creating a dwelling which matched their aspirations and budget.

Reflecting the local vernacular the dwelling is  rendered and follows an 'L' shape plan creating a private intimate courtyard to the rear which in turns opens up to the wider garden.
