New Build Dwelling, Keighley

We secured full planning consent for this new build dwelling sited in Green Belt and the grounds of a Grade II Listed farm house.


The clients had recently encountered their own challenges and required a wheelchair accessible family home to be located within their rural farmstead. We worked closely with the clients to develop a scheme which worked practically for their family and responded to the spatial character of the farmstead. The central mass of the house echoes the agricultural form of the stable block which previously occupied the site with the addition of two corten clad ‘wings’ which are tucked behind (and project through) the existing stone boundary walls.
